Welcome to Altitude Pole Wigram! Here, we've created a supportive community where you can build strength, improve your fitness, and boost your confidence in a unique and enjoyable way. Our pole dancing, aerial and fitness classes aren't just about getting fit, they're about discovering what you're truly capable of and having a blast while doing it.

About the studio

Our Wigram studio has three rooms, two featuring poles and the other with aerial rigging capabilities. There is plenty of off-street parking right outside the studio and loads of on-street parking too!

Car parks labelled Altitude Pole Wigram are available for use at any time, Reliance Medical and Topa Electrical parks are available for use after 5 pm on weekdays, and all day on the weekend. There is plenty of on street parking available too.

We are across the road from Musgroves and next door to Reliance Medical.

Below is our 2024 timetable! Any classes that are level one are appropriate for an absolute beginner, along with our stretch classes. Once you've got a grasp of level one, you can also jump into our flow, floorwork, and twerk classes too.

    Ready to start your pole dancing journey? Then our Level 1 Pole classes are for you! This beginner-level class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of pole dancing and build body awareness. It's the perfect way to get started on your pole dancing journey.

  • Pole Level 2

    Level 2 Pole

    Ready to take your pole dancing skills to the next level? Join our Pole Level 2 class! Building on the fundamentals you learned in Level 1, you'll start going higher up the pole and learning to invert. Get ready for a challenging and rewarding workout that will leave you feeling strong and confident. To attend this class you will need to be confident in our Level 1 curriculum.

  • Pole Level 3

    Our Pole Level 3 classes build on the skills you learned in Levels 1 and 2, you'll continue to work on invert skills and start to learn fundamental aerial moves. To attend this class you need to be confident in Levels 1 and 2.

  • Pole Level 4 at Altitude Pole

    Our Pole Level 4 class is designed for those who are serious about advancing their skills. With a focus on advanced fundamental pole tricks and combos, you'll be challenged in new ways and amazed at what you can achieve. To attend this class you will need to be confident in Levels 1 to 3.

    Level 5+ is our most advanced class type, only available to those who are competent in the previous levels. With a focus on advanced pole tricks and combos that require more strength and flexibility, you'll be pushed to new heights.

  • Spin Pole

    Our Spin Pole classes focus on learning how to dance on a spinning pole and create beautiful and dynamic combos. You'll be challenged in new ways and amazed at what you can achieve. A spinning pole is a setting on our poles that can make them spin in the direction of your movements from your body weight and momentum. This is different to our regular Levels classes that are on static poles that don't move.

    Want to add some new skills to your pole dancing repertoire? Our Floorwork class is where it's at! With a focus on ground-based moves like Fish Flops and shoulder rolls, you'll learn how to move gracefully and fluidly on the floor. This class can also incorporate ground-based pole tricks, giving you a whole new way to work your body.

    Want to add more dance and flow to your pole schedule? Our Pole Flow class is the perfect way to do it! With a focus on movement, musicality, and fluidity, you'll learn to string together ground-based pole moves in a beautiful and graceful way. Attending Level 1 Pole is recommended.

In this beginner-friendly class, we'll guide you through the foundational skills and poses that make up the mesmerising art form of aerial silks. You'll explore climbing, wrapping and basic drops, all while suspended in the beautiful silks.

Please note, a check-off from Level 2 Silks is required before attendance. Prepare to push your limits and continue your ascent in this exhilarating aerial art form!

You'll get acquainted with the hoop, learning the fundamental poses and transitions that form the foundation of this dynamic discipline.     Training Times are designed for experienced pole dancers who are looking for more time on the pole and the opportunity to work on their own skills. These sessions are exclusively available to our add-on pack holders and Unlimited Class members, so you can maximize your pole practice and take your skills to the next level. These sessions don't have an instructor taking them, so you will need to be approved prior to attending.

At Altitude, we operate on a membership basis because we believe in the power of commitment to drive progress. Our memberships not only give you access to our diverse range of classes, but they also embed you in our supportive community and provide a consistent path to achieving your fitness and confidence goals. To participate in our classes and embark on this exciting journey, you'll need to become a member. Don't worry - the process is simple, and the rewards are well worth it!

    Studio Manager and Pole Instructor

    As Studio Manager, Ellen is the busy bee in the background ensuring that the studio runs smoothly. You'll also see Ellen in level 1 & 2 pole, beginner heels flow, stretch, flow and freestyle, and pole play. Ellen began teaching in 2019 when the Wigram studio opened. Her favourite part of instructing is helping people achieve things they never thought they could!

    Sales Manager, Pole and Aerials Instructor

    As Sales Manager, you'll chat with Kirsty when you start your pole & aerials journey! You'll also see Kirsty in level 2, 3 & 4 pole, level 1 & 2 hoop, intermediate heels flow, and pole play. Kirsty began teaching in 2019 when the Wigram studio opened. Her favourite part of instructing is joining students on the journey from first class, to achieving their goals!

    Pole and Aerials Instructor

    You'll find Jess teaching level 1 pole, spin pole, hoop, and silks. Jess initially started pole in 2018. She then re-discovered pole and aerials in 2020, became a qualified personal trainer, before joining our instructing team in 2022. Her favourite part of instructing is helping to make pole & aerials work for any body, working with people to make things accessible!

    Pole Instructor

    You'll find Dara teaching level 1 pole, level 2 spin pole, and stretch. Dara started with us in 2018, knowing she wanted to perform in showcases, and get strong. She then began teaching with us in 2021. Her favourite part about teaching is being able to help students 'unlock' skills. She also loves seeing her students' tiny wins that lead to big gains over time!

    Pole Instructor

    You'll find Oliva in level 4 pole, 4/5 pole combos, and floorwork. She started pole in 2011, and never stopped. Pole offered her physical exploration, creative expression, and a community. Oliva started teaching in 2017, her favourite thing is spreading the joy of pole, seeing the positive impact on wellbeing and confidence, and contributing to a fun, safe space!

    You can find Shon teaching beginner floorwork, and beginner back bending. Shon started her pole journey with Altitude Pole Wigram in 2019, and joined our instructing team in 2022. Her favourite part of instructing is finding folks who are just as passionate about movement, flexibility, and fitness as she is!

    You'll find Laura teaching level 1 & 2 pole. Laura started her pole journey in 2016 after making a bet with a friend, and then never left! Laura joined our instructing team in 2019. Her favourite part of instructing is seeing students work towards a goal, and the light and sense of achievement they feel when they nail something new!
